Will new Jharkhand DGP Tadasha Mishra get extension ?

Jharkhand government has appointed 1994 batch IPS officer Tadasha Mishra as the new Director General of Police. Now, she holds the credit of being the first woman to become the acting DGP of the state. Her tenure, however, will be brief as she is scheduled to retire on December 31, 2025. Earlier, the previous DGP Anurag Gupta had also assumed charge as acting DGP of Jharkhand on July 26, 2024. There are chances that Mishra will get an extension. Mishra has taken over the charge as Jharkhand's acting Director General of Police (DGP).
